After having leisurely breakfast, our representative and guide would meet you at the hotel and start a full day guided tour of Delhi . Visit Qutab Minar, which is one of the tallest towers of it's time in India, Humanyun's Tomb - an UNESCO world heritage site which was built by Begum Hamida for his husband Mughal Emperor Humanyun. It is one of the forerunners of the Taj Mahal. Later also visit India Gate, President's House, the landmark of India Democracy the Parliament House. Take a tour of Red Fort - an UNESCO world heritage site and a symbol of mighty Mughal Empire, Jama Masjid the biggest mosque of India , Chandni Chowk and Raj Ghat (a Memorial of Father of India Mahatma Gandhi).

In the morning, you will be transfers to board the prestigious Shatabdi Express train to Amritsar . On arrival at Amritsar , you will be received and transferred to the hotel. Later visit Golden Temple - it is the most sacred temple of the Sikhs all over the world. Golden Temple is also known as Sri Harmandir Sahib and Sri Darbar Sahib.

Today take a guided tour of Jalianwala Bagh also called as the Amritsar Massacre - a national monument where on 13th of April, 1919, over thousands unarmed people was massacred by the British Indian Army soldiers by the order of Brigadier Reginald Dyer. Later also visit Wagha boarder to experience the flag ceremony which is held between Indian and Pakistan forces everyday.

After breakfast drive further to Dharamshala. Arrive at Dharamshala, transfer to the hotel at McLeodganj. McLeodganj is the place where His Holiness Dalai Lama along with thousands Tibetan refugees lives. It is the perfect place to view the Tibetan culture and their life style.

Today take a guided tour of Tibetan settlements, the places of their worships, Namgyal Monastery, the learning centres & few craft centres.  Also visit the church of St. John-in-the-Wilderness nearby.  If lucky, get an opportunity to meet & take an audience of His Holiness Dalai Lama. You may take a tour of Kangra Art Museum at lower Dharamshala to see the miniature paintings of Kangra School of Art.

Drive further to Palampur visiting Brijeshwari Devi temple, Chamundi Devi temple and 8th century Masroor Rock temple en-route. These fifteen rock temples are opulently carved & monolithic sculpted in the superb style same as the Kailash temple of Ellora Caves. Arrive at Palampur check in at historical Taragarh Palace hotel. Later take a sightseeing tour of Tashijong Monastery to see the Tibetan Carpet Weaving factory, wooden carvings & Thanka Paintings. Also visit Baijnath temple - it is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva Vaidyanatha. It is believed that here the great King of Lanka Ravana during the Ramayana period Worshipped Shiva in-order to get immortality.

Day 10- Manali-Shimla
